Samsung's wonder Tab at shocking price..check it out

New Delhi, Oct 10 While the tablet shipments continue to dip in India, Samsung on Tuesday said the company is bullish on the future of tablets in the country and plans to introduce new products to give a wholesome experience to its consumers.

The shipment of Tablet PCs recorded a decline of 11 percent over the previous quarter in India -- with just 0.68 million shipments in the second quarter of 2017. According to market intelligence firm CMR India, Indian market recorded 29 percent year-on-year decline for the second quarter of this year.

However, in this falling tablet market, Samsung and Lenovo -- with 14 percent market share each -- ranked third, with Datawind being the leader.

"If you ask me about tablets, in August, we crossed 50 percent of the market share by value in India. We have the intent to introduce each product to give a different experience to consumers. Our target is to stay ahead of the pack, keep growing and keep doing good," Vishal Kaul, Director, Mobile Business, Samsung India, told IANS here.

"Galaxy Tab A 2017" houses 5000mAh battery that enables multimedia usage for up to 14 hours.
The device is also equipped with "Bixby Home" digital assistant and helps consumers find whatever they are looking for, with just a swipe and without having to open a single app.

Jio: Airtel now offer 1GB data & unlimited calls @ 199/-

Reliance Jio has quietly updated one of its prepaid packs to provide customers with unlimited data. The Rs. 149 plan till recently came with 2GB of bundled data with 28 days of validity - once the 2GB data cap was exhausted, the customer would have to buy a top-up voucher. In contrast, most other Jio plans came with unlimited Internet access at a lower speed even after the high-speed FUP was over. With Jio updating the Rs. 149 plan, customers will get unlimited data with this plan as well.

The Rs. 149 plan still comes with 2GB FUP for 28 days, but now users can access the Web at 64kbps speed after the high-speed quota is over. Notably, even though Jio has provided customers with unlimited Internet, the post-FUP speed is still lower than that of its other plans - the Rs. 96, Rs. 309 and plans priced higher all offer 128kbps speed, twice that of the Rs. 149 plan, once the data the high-speed is exhausted. Jio's Rs. 19 and Rs. 49 plans still do not have unlimited Internet access once the FUP is consumed.

India's largest telecom operator, Bharti Airtel has introduced a new tariff plan priced at Rs 199. This plan has been rolled out for Airtel's existing subscriber base and offers similar benefits as Jio's Rs 149 prepaid plan, a report by TelecomTalk said on Tuesday. The plan offers unlimited local and STD calls along with 1GB data on 4G/3G/2G network for a period of 28 days.
However the 'unlimited' calls could be restricted to 300 minutes per day and 1200 per week. Also the plan might be applicable for select customers, the report added.

The Rs. 149 plan costs a little less than half of the popular Rs. 309 plan that offers 56 days of validity and 1GB data per day FUP, and is a lot more lucrative. Even the Rs. 96 plan comes with 7GB of 4G data, even though the validity is just 7 days. The Rs. 149 plan is not available for postpaid consumers of Jio. Calls are free, of course, and the pack comes with Jio apps subscription and free SMSes.

Airtel also has a Rs 178 plan for new customers which offered unlimited calls and 1GB data. Customers can avail of this plan on first and second recharges. The company has also promoted its Rs 399 plan for select users that provided 1GB data and unlimited voice calls for 84 days.

The fingerprint sensor also doubles up as an additional key that can be configured to perform tasks like browsing through pictures, stop the alarm, pick calls and even take pictures. The smartphone runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3020mAh battery.

Honor had recently discounted the price of the Honor 6X and its flagship Honor 8 Pro smartphone. It and also offered EMI options for the Honor 8 Lite. The company also rolled out new premium powerbanks and made its devices available on Flipkart. The company is expected to introduce a smartphone with four cameras, a nearly bezel-less design and an 18:9 display soon.
Good news: Jio Rs 149 plan upgrade now offers unlimited data, know how you benefit

Reliance Jio has upgraded its Rs 149 recharge pack offers. Find out the details here.

Under the new Rs 149 plan, Jio is offering 2GB 4G internet data, unlimited voice calling, 300 SMS, and mobile app access.
Reliance Jio has brought slight changes to its Rs 149 recharge plan. Jio has completed one year since its entry into the Indian market and it has regularly brought new updates, especially on tariffs. While Jio is all set to roll out the much awaited Jio Phones, there are other offers from the company available as well. There is a Diwali special offer on JioFi devices from Reliance Jio. But apart from that, there have been a few changes in the tariff plans as well, that you might not have noticed. One of the key upgrades has been in the basic Rs 149 recharge plan from Reliance Jio.
Under the new Rs 149 plan, Jio is offering 2GB 4G internet data, unlimited voice calling, 300 SMS, and mobile app access. However, after the 2GB data gets exhausted, Jio will still offer internet services, but at 64kbps speeds. According to the earlier Jio Rs 149 tariff plan, there was no data available after the FUP limit got crossed. But now the post FUP speed is 64kbps. It should be noted that most of the other plans already have this feature. According to those plans, Jio users get a speed of 128kbps when the data is exhausted. While the difference may seem large, yet it's good news for low data consumption customers.
